1. Data controller

The data controller is Emilio Verde, owner of the Monì Boutique apartment, Via Europa 86, 04024 Gaeta (LT), Italy. For any privacy request, write to moniboutiquegaeta@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

Browsing data. This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. As with any website, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, the servers automatically record some data in their technical logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the type of browser and device. We do not use this data to identify visitors.

Data you send us. If you write to us by email or on Instagram, we process the information you choose to share (for example your name, email address, dates of stay and the content of your message) only to reply to you.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Running and securing the website: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Replying to enquiries about the apartment and availability: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your data is not used for profiling, advertising or newsletters, and is never sold or passed on to third parties.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any other tracking tools: no analytics, no advertising, no content embedded from other services. That is why there is no cookie banner. Links to Google Maps, Instagram, Airbnb and OpenStreetMap lead to external websites, which have their own privacy policies.

5. Who receives the data

• Netlify, Inc. (United States), which hosts the website, acting as data processor.
• Google (Gmail) and Meta (Instagram), the services we use to receive and manage messages.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. In those cases the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep it

• Technical logs: for the limited period set by the hosting provider.
• Messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires otherwise.

7. Your rights

At any time you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Just write to moniboutiquegaeta@gmail.com. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority in your country.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated, for example if the website changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
